Dwan Simard is a nurse at CNMS, she started working here in the fall. Growing up she always wanted to be a nurse. She would love to travel to all the Disney locations around the world. When she is reading she loses track of time, when she is into a good book she feels like she is in her own little world. Books are the one thing she wouldn’t want to live without, she loves to always be learning. Spending time with her husband and children makes her happy. She likes late spring when it’s not to hot out just a balmy 21 degrees. Her favourite family tradition is family dinners with her parents and sisters. When she thinks of home she will always think of her parents house, even though she has her own home with her husband and children. Her most embarrassing moment is the time she wore her pants backwards to work and didn’t realize until she got home at the end of her shift. Her favourite pet is her dog Thor, he’s 14 years old and still acts like a puppy. She is scared of heights and mice. If she had a super power she would like to be invisible, she’d love to see how people interact when they don’t know people are watching. Her favourite food is wood smoked pizza.

Roxanne Campbell is a grade 8 teacher at CNMS, this is her first year teaching here. Growing up she dreamed of being the manager of her own company. As a child she loved to swim and now she just enjoys sitting in the hot tub. She loses track of time playing the online game “collapse”. If the whole world was forced to listen to her she would say, “be the change you want to see in the world, love yourself”. Seeing her family healthy and content makes her happy. She loves winter because of all the fun activities you can do outside. Riding the sky screamer at marine land which was 78 stories high was the scariest thing she has ever done, she thought she was going to fall off the world. She couldn’t imagine living without coffee. Her favourite family tradition is fasting at a sundance. When she thinks of home, she thinks of Laplonge reserve which is where she is from. During isolation she has stayed connected through FaceTime and Google meets. If she had a super power she would want to teleport through time and space and have all the powers of captain marvel. She is afraid of big spiders and snakes. Her favourite food is Chicken Alfredo. If money wasn’t an issue she would love to travel the world.
